The design for the Jeu de Boules has long been in development. I’ve been sketching this design for years. New realizations of this design have happened over time. For example, in 2008, a sketch of this design was converted into a wall lamp for a private customer. The bulbs were slightly different, but were the same color. That’s what makes this design so exciting. This wall lamp had to cover an electric cord and be hung up high. It needed to serve as both ambient light and as a reading lamp.
Now years later, our Jeu de Boules collection is finally realized. The bulbs are similar. They are the same colors, in white, dark red and amber, but they are also always a bit different. We can consider new models or new compositions for customers. For one of our clients, 4 staggered luminaires hang in stainless steel with 2 amber colored bulbs over a 4 meter-long table. The monumental space is filled with beautiful and functional lighting.
