Jozé ten Have VOF is a cooperative venture of artists. Jozé ten Have VOF has designed and produced exclusive lighting under the name KUNST & LICHT for over fifteen years. The large number of lighting projects that KUNST & LICHT has designed and executed during these years, has produced a lot of experience and know-how in the accomplishment of the most diverse ideas and concepts.

Materials

Thanks to the growing technical knowledge and experience KUNST & LICHT has been able to design and produce a growing number of models that are based on various materials. For example brass, stainless steel, aluminium, iron and plastic materials are used. Almost all constructive and welding activities take place in our own workshop. Activities like water jet cutting, laser cutting, metal spinning, galvanizing, anodic treatment and powder coating are put out to other businesses.

Glass

In the sphere of glass KUNST & LICHT also uses various techniques and materials. Besides free-blown glass, glass plates, tubes, bars and crystals are used. The fact that it is produced after our own design makes the free-blown glass very special. Also it is possible to manufacture the glass in any number, even a single example. Because of our close cooperation with different glass-artists, it is possible to further process the glass with various techniques like fusing, sand-blasting, water jet cutting, regular cutting and bending.

Lighting

As lighting sources KUNST & LICHT uses light bulbs, energy-efficient light bulbs, halogen lamps and LED.

Designing

Besides a regular selection KUNST & LICHT mainly designs exclusive lighting on request. The locations vary from voids, entrances or staircases in private homes to office buildings, theatres, saunas and ships. A design can be made, fitting to a specific interior or a design from an architect or an interior architect can be executed. It is possible for us to visit a location and to give an advice or make a concept design without engagement.

This way of working and producing, which is from design till the final product under our own control, gives us the opportunity to go along with specific ideas of the customer and to execute the most unique designs.
